About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize our Salesforce environment, ensuring it effectively supports our business needs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining system health, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement within our Salesforce ecosystem. You will be responsible for user administration, data management, workflow automation, and providing technical support to our teams. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities.

A Day in the Life

As a Salesforce Administrator at WatchGuard, you will spend your day managing and enhancing our Salesforce platform. This includes configuring and customizing Salesforce to meet evolving business requirements, managing user access and permissions, and ensuring data integrity. You will collaborate with various teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.

Position Responsibilities

· Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and sharing settings.

· Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and flows.

· Manage data integrity, including data imports, exports, and cleanup.

· Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, providing timely and effective technical support.

· Develop and maintain documentation for Salesforce processes and configurations.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Salesforce solutions.

· Assist with the integration of Salesforce with other business applications (e.g., Outreach, 6sense).

· Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and best practices and recommend improvements to the platform.

· Implement and maintain Salesforce security protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, managing and configuring Salesforce environments.

· One or more current Salesforce Administrator certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator).

· Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization, including objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and flows.

· Strong understanding of Salesforce sharing models, including organization-wide defaults, role hierarchies, and sharing rules.

· Salesforce DevOps tools experience (e.g., Gearset, Copado).

· Proficiency in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards.

· Knowledge of Salesforce security best practices and user administration.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
