We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and develop our team of West Coast-based Investment Managers (sales representatives). Investment Managers at Hometap are integral to our success, managing the full sales cycle and serving as the primary point of contact for homeowners from initial inquiry to investment completion. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of up to 10 Investment Managers, focusing on delivering exceptional quality and achieving ambitious sales goals. Candidates must be located and working within Pacific or Mountain Time zones.

What you’ll do:
Manage a team of up to 10 Investment Managers located in the Pacific and Mountain Time zones
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance within the team
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings to provide feedback, track progress, and address any challenges
Identify and address performance gaps, working collaboratively with Sales Enablement and Training to create targeted coaching plans
Optimize sales performance through data analysis, leveraging metrics and reporting to identify trends and opportunities
Drive pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient lead conversion
Instill strong, consistent process adherence for all sales activities, including CRM utilization and documentation, while adhering to organization-wide sales processes
Cultivate, build, and maintain a culture focused on providing exceptional homeowner experience
Participate in the hiring and interviewing process, identifying and recruiting top sales talent
Manage the sales pipeline for out of office team members
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments on projects and process improvements
What you bring:
2+ years of experience as a sales manager in a B2C environment – consumer financial services experience is a plus
Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams
Strong understanding of the B2C sales cycle and pipeline management
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach
Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their full potential
Proven ability to work in a remote environment and manage a remote team
Proficiency in utilizing sales tools and technologies; Salesforce is a plus
A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to management
Ability to adapt to changing processes and business requirements
A collaborative approach to problem solving, working cross-functionally to solve problems and improve systems
Must be located and working within the Pacific or Mountain Time zones
