Regional Marketing & Events Associate
The Opportunity
As our EMEA Regional Marketing and Event Associate, you will be a key player in supporting our events and regional marketing initiatives across the region, contributing to the overall success of our marketing efforts. You’ll have an opportunity to work on a variety of events and learn best practices from stakeholders across the organization. What You’ll Be Doing:
Event support (80% of time)
Collaborate with the Events Manager to plan and execute virtual and in-person events,
Support event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, booth setup, and on-site support when necessary.
Track event metrics and provide post-event analysis to evaluate success and areas for improvement
Maintain flawless project documentation including timelines, budgets, contracts, and vendor communications, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Conduct thorough quality checks on event assets (signage, collateral, presentations, registration sites, etc.) to ensure brand consistency and error-free execution.
Proactively identify risks and troubleshoot issues before and during events, applying critical thinking to resolve challenges in real time.
Liaise cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to align event objectives with broader business goals.
Leverage AI tools to streamline event planning workflows (e.g., content drafting, data analysis, attendee engagement, reporting) while ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
Regional marketing support (20% of time)
Manage and execute account-based marketing initiatives, including virtual programs and in-person events, ensuring data and project timelines are kept up to date
Support account programs and conferences onsite if needed; create and localize marketing materials for specific regions
Use marketing analytics tools to gather data and generate reports on campaign performance.

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of event marketing experience
Willingness to travel by plane (~40%)
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and technologies
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and shifting priorities, without sacrificing quality.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and spot potential gaps.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in fast-paced, ambiguous situations.
Curiosity and openness to adopting new technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency and effectiveness in event execution.
Proficiency in Zuddl, Salesforce, Splash, Monday.com a plus

Compensation & Rewards: In the United Kingdom, the base salary compensation range for this role is GBP 42,237 - GBP 53,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.
