**Candidate Note: This position is 100% remote for candidates based in the US**
We are looking for a great Product Manager with experience driving complex technical products forward for enterprise-class, data-intensive products, which will be essential to this role. Specific technical knowledge with AI workloads will be critical as you help deliver products and features that meet the needs of our customers with “minutes to wow” user experience and drive business growth.
Your impact will be:
Managing and directing processes and R&D to meet the needs of our AI strategy.
Understanding company and client challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions.
Working cross-functionally within EDB, across engineering, marketing, sales, and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to production.
Working with customers to understand and incorporate their feedback into our product vision while also being an effective evangelist for EDB and our offerings.
Collaborating with product and engineering peers to deliver your product’s roadmap.
Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.
Supporting our Sales team. Collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to support new releases.
Bringing an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem-solving.
Monitor and analyze product performance, competitive landscape, and market trends, using these insights to drive product improvements and identify new opportunities.
What you’ll bring:
7+ years of experience leading technically complex enterprise products.
Demonstrated success as a product manager for a complex, data-intensive offering with enterprise customers.
Exceptional communication skills. Able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.
Solid understanding of modern product management principles and product development processes.
Solid understanding of the opportunities for generative AI within the database landscape.
Technical track record working closely with engineering/technical teams.
Strong ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling.
What will give you an edge:
MBA with a technical undergrad degree preferred, but not required.
Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem, used/managed Postgres.
Knowledge of OSS and OSS communities (not just Postgres, though that’s a double plus!).
