Xplor Technologies is at the forefront of developing innovative payment solutions. Our mission is to simplify payments and streamline financial transactions for businesses and consumers. We are seeking a Group Product Manager to lead our Data, and Migrations initiatives for our Xplor Pay product and contribute to our vision of transforming the payment industry.

As a Product Design Director you will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our payment solutions through ownership of our product design organisation – driving the evolution of embedded payments solutions for vertical SaaS platforms on the Xplor Pay platform.

Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Product Design Director to join our team. In this leadership role, you will drive the product design strategy and oversee a talented team of designers to create exceptional user experiences for our cutting-edge products.

  • Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration

  • Develop and implement product design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs

  • Oversee the entire design process from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality deliverables

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing

  • Conduct user research and analyze market trends to inform design decisions

  • Present design concepts and strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices

  • Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in product design

The average base salary pay range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000.

In this role, you may work remotely as long as you are located within the lower 48 states of the US. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; Master's degree preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

  • Proven track record of successful product launches and driving design innovation

  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design best practices and the product development lifecycle

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions

  • Experience in conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor design teams, fostering a collaborative work environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven design decisions

  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in product design
