Scopely is looking for a Producer with a focus on Analytics to join the Slate Development Group and contribute to an ambitious new AAA cross-platform game, based in Culver City on a hybrid basis or remotely in the US & Canada (East Coast preferred).

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

Slate Development Group owns Scopely’s editorial and content strategy, including the company’s greenlighting, Game Development Framework (GDF), studio strategy (organic and inorganic) and slate-wide budget and investment strategy.

What you will do:

The Analytics-focused Producer will lead the coordination and management of telemetry and analytics initiatives across multiple game development teams. In this role, you will work embedded within the development team, collaborating closely with producers, product owners, developers, and data analysts to ensure analytics features are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered throughout each development season.

You will report to the Executive Producer and work closely with all business stakeholders to ensure our internal processes and analytics capabilities are optimized, enabling the effective planning, tracking, and delivery of features throughout each stage of development.

  • Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with developers at the start of each development season to review upcoming features and define analytics requirements. Drive planning sessions with Product Owners and Customers to ensure feature and telemetry tickets are generated and distributed. Leverage automation tools where possible to optimize workflow and ensure smooth handoffs while leadership focus is highest.

  • Telemetry Implementation Management: Oversee the distribution and tracking of telemetry implementation tickets, working closely with DevOps and Analytics Leadership to ensure assignments are accurate and aligned with studio processes. Follow up with developers to resolve ticket assignment or scheduling issues, ensure analytics work is executed efficiently and on schedule.

  • Backlog Management: Identify analytics work that needs scheduling, assign it to the appropriate team, epic, and sprint, and collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize these tasks. Maintain an external Jira board for cross-team items, monitor progress and report weekly to ensure visibility and accountability.

  • Roadmap & Documentation: Maintain the analytics roadmap, ensure confluence and Jira are fully aligned and reflect current priorities. Work with analytics leadership to refine global roadmap views, ensure timelines, epics, and plans are accurate, actionable, and accessible. Support clear visibility and alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Team Rituals & Delivery Management: Participate in and help facilitate team rituals, including stand-ups, backlog triage, development season & sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Manage sprint recap documentation, coordinate the finalization of deliverables at the end of each development season, and assist in defining goals for the next season. Ensure that analytics initiatives are aligned with studio production processes and delivered effectively.

  • Adaptability & Team Collaboration: Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first mindset by supporting a wide range of production initiatives beyond analytics as needed. Collaborate across disciplines to address emerging priorities, fill gaps, and contribute to the success of high-impact initiatives wherever the team needs additional production support.

What will you need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of production experience in analytics, including experience supporting or managing a development team with exposure to publisher-facing workflows.

  • Proven track record in managing and coordinating production efforts across multiple game teams and features, ensuring analytics and telemetry implementations are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating with producers, product owners, engineers, and analysts to drive clarity, prioritize tasks, and maintain momentum across teams.

  • Proven track record of delivering results, coupled with a strong passion for effectively using and collaborating with various applications (e.g., Google Suite, Jira, etc.) to drive project success, adapting as necessary to meet job demands.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive schedules, monitor task progress and deliverables, and achieve timely completion of project objectives. Proven experience in organizing activities and providing oversight to ensure project adherence and meet deadlines.

  • Experience working with executives in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will approach the job with a great sense of urgency, enjoy taking the initiative, thrive at juggling multiple priorities, and seamlessly shift gears as needed.

  • Analytical, observant, and strategic, applying the right balance between data and qualitative information to decision-making.
