Procurement & Capacity Manager
Company Description
The world’s digital experiences run on something invisible: the infrastructure and software that keep them fast, reliable, and secure. At Gcore, you’ll help design and deliver that foundation for an AI-driven world.
We’re a global provider of infrastructure and software solutions for AI, cloud, network, and security, powering everything from real-time communication and streaming to enterprise AI and secure web applications. With 210+ edge locations, 50+ cloud regions, and thousands of GPUs, your work here can reach users and businesses across the globe.
You’ll collaborate with leading technology partners such as Intel, NVIDIA, Dell, and Equinix, and work on platforms that power digital products used around the world. Our vision is simple: to connect the world to AI, anywhere, anytime.
Want to work on technology that goes beyond a single product or industry? Join a global team of 550+ professionals building infrastructure and software that supports the entire digital ecosystem. We are currently looking for a Procurement & Capacity Manager.
We operate thousands of GPUs globally and are scaling at a startup pace. We are looking for a key team member to take control of our hardware supply chain and become the primary bridge between the global supplier market and our customers. Your main goal is to secure profitable and available computing power. You will be the 'Data Owner' regarding which GPUs are available, where, and at what price, in real-time.
Job Description
What You’ll Do 1. Sourcing & Negotiations:
Constantly scout the market for GPU server suppliers (Data Centers, Hardware Resellers, Cloud Providers).
Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and contract terms. Your goal is to secure terms better than the standard list price.
Vet new vendors for reliability and finalize partnership agreements.
2. Inventory Management (Data Ownership):
Maintain a centralized registry of available capacity (Master Inventory List).
Create and update a structured daily dataset. This is the 'Source of Truth' our sales team uses to semi-automatically book servers. Accuracy is critical.
Monitor stock levels with current partners in real-time.
3. Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on market pricing for top-tier GPUs.
Track market dynamics - shortages, new releases, and fluctuations in hosting/electricity costs.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
IT/Hardware Procurement Experience: You understand the difference between an H100 and an RTX 6000 and know how the server hardware market operates.
English (Fluent/Advanced): 99% of our suppliers are international. You must be able to confidently negotiate (verbal and written), bargain, and resolve conflicts.
Systematic & Data-Driven: You love order. You can organize data so that a 1,000-row spreadsheet has zero errors.
Excellent command of Google Sheets / Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
Proactivity: The GPU market is the 'Wild West.' You need to be fast, persistent, and able to secure scarce resources before competitors do.
Nice to Have
Experience with a Cloud Provider or Hardware Distributor.
Understanding of the AI infrastructure landscape.
Why Gcore?
You will have a direct impact on the company's strategic direction.
We provide the most advanced AI tools to help you do your job faster and better.
You will work in a culture that values truth-seeking and smart experimentation over 'HiPPO' (Highest Paid Person's Opinion).
