LI.FI is simplifying multi-chain DeFi for traditional financial institutions, fintechs and service providers by offering a unified API to access all on-chain liquidity across major blockchains for best price same-chain and cross-chain swaps. We are a passionate team on a mission to enable a fairer, more decentralised world. Apart from the tech, we care a lot about user experience and aim to make complex technologies accessible to everyone.

A quick run-down of the job

We’re looking for a People Partner to be a trusted partner to our teams and managers through LI.FI’s scaling journey. Your role is to enhance overall company performance through various topics: driving improvement across people systems, implementing new initiatives A-Z, coaching managers, and shaping a culture where teams feel connected, empowered, and able to do their best work.

Your focus will be on strategic partnership, as well as stepping into operational tasks when needed — helping ensure the day-to-day people processes run smoothly and aligned to LI.FI’s culture.

🌍 Location

Remote within the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Your application will not be considered if you’re outside of this region.

What You’ll Do

Partner & Enable

  • Act as a trusted People Partner to managers and teams, providing coaching and guidance on performance, feedback, career growth and other key topics.

  • Support managers in building high-performing, engaged, and resilient teams.

  • Translate business and team needs into effective people practices.

  • Partner closely with the Head of People to design and implement people systems in a fast-paced environment.

Grow & Develop

  • Support the development, execution and evolution of performance feedback cycles and career frameworks.

  • Coach managers on delivering meaningful feedback, managing performance challenges, and supporting career progression.

  • Contribute to employee development, engagement, and retention initiatives in collaboration with the Head of People and Talent team.

  • Drive initiatives related to organizational health, engagement, and belonging (e.g. engagement or NPS-style surveys, follow-ups, and action plans).

Operate & Support

  • Flex into People Operations tasks when needed, including onboarding, employee lifecycle support, and policy rollout.

  • Partner with People Ops, Finance, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of core people processes.

  • Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on HR-related topics, policies, and people processes.

Measure & Evolve

  • Use data and feedback (engagement metrics, turnover, qualitative insights) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Take a builder’s mindset — experiment, iterate, and help scale people practices that work.

What Makes a Great Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in People Partner, HRBP or HR Generalist roles

  • Hands-on experience in a People Partner or similar role in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience partnering with engineering, product and technical teams.

  • Experience working with remote teams.

  • Strong experience supporting managers and teams through growth, change, and performance cycles.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills — you build trust quickly and connect easily with people at all levels.

  • Comfortable balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution.

  • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals, performance management, and employee engagement.

  • Excellent English communication skills, German language skills preferred

  • Adaptable, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented — you focus on impact, not just process.

  • Experience in a Web3 environment is a plus.

Company culture

  • Embracing the differences

    • Embrace your own differences

    • Respect and welcome the unique qualities of others

    • See others’ differences as an opportunity to grow

  • Own it, do it

    • Own tasks end-to-end

    • Hold yourself to a high bar for execution

    • Make bold decisions, and be accountable

    • Understand your limitations and seek for help

  • Fail forward

    • Try - don’t be afraid to fail

    • Learn - don’t make the same mistake twice

    • Adapt - grow with the experience

  • Have fun together

    • Take the time to get to know and understand each other better

    • Don’t take yourself too seriously and keep it light-hearted

    • Fun should be coming from a place of love and respect

What you’ll get

  • Annual team offsites (Thailand in 2023 and Vietnam in 2024 were a blast, Marrakech in March 2025 was blast-ier; let’s see what happens in 2026!)

  • 30 days of PTO

  • Flexible remote days

  • Flexible working hours

  • Equity participation from day 1

  • Entitlement to work computer (choice of equipment)

  • An annual 1,000€ personal development budget once you have worked 6+ months (pro-rated the first year)
