People Ops Partner (German speaker)
LI.FI is simplifying multi-chain DeFi for traditional financial institutions, fintechs and service providers by offering a unified API to access all on-chain liquidity across major blockchains for best price same-chain and cross-chain swaps. We are a passionate team on a mission to enable a fairer, more decentralised world. Apart from the tech, we care a lot about user experience and aim to make complex technologies accessible to everyone.
A quick run-down of the job
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Ops Partner to keep our people operations running smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll manage the core HR processes, systems, and records that enable our team to grow and perform — from onboarding and contracts to HRIS management and day-to-day employee support.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys structure, organization, and making processes work better at scale.
🌍 Location
Remote within the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Your application will not be considered if you’re outside of this region.
Operate & Execute
Own day-to-day People operations, including managing contracts, employee records, and HR documentation.
Maintain and update our HRIS (e.g. HiBob) and related tools, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration across systems.
Support payroll and benefits administration in coordination with finance and external partners.
Ensure all employment processes are compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with company policies across regions.
Deliver & Improve
Run and continuously improve key processes such as onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, and internal communications.
Support the rollout of new policies, procedures, and HR tools to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Partner with the Head of People and the wider Talent team to deliver programs that support employee development, engagement, and retention.
Support & Connect
Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.
Help new joiners feel welcome and set up for success through a smooth, structured onboarding experience.
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen connection and belonging across our distributed team.
Measure & Evolve
Track HR metrics (turnover, engagement, process SLAs, etc.) and use data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Take a builder’s approach — experiment, iterate, and scale processes that work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What makes a good candidate
3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR generalist roles — ideally in a fast-paced or scaling company.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you enjoy managing systems, processes, and administrative tasks that keep things running smoothly.
Experience managing HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Rippling, BambooHR) and maintaining accurate employee data.
Knowledge of HR fundamentals, employment policies, and compliance requirements.
Skilled in using Slack, G Suite, Ashby, Figma, or similar tools.
Strong communicator who can build trust and alignment across distributed teams.
Bilingual or native German speaker, with excellent English communication skills.
Hands-on, adaptable, and resourceful — you enjoy making things work better, not just maintaining them.
Previous experience partnering with engineering, data and product teams is a strong plus.
Experience in the crypto, Web3 or other fast changing spaces is a big bonus.
