Plaid’s People Analytics Team is focused on leveraging data to uncover insights to make Plaid the best place to work. We do so by using reporting, analytics, & people focused solutions to support our business, enable growth, and help employees to be successful. As the second team member to the small but mighty People Analytics team, you will help create the vision and build the future of Plaid’s People reporting & analysis foundation.
This role will be responsible for identifying business needs, understanding current state systems, constructing actionable reporting, and building analyses to inform business & people decisions. If you’re interested in using your passion and skill with data, reporting, and analysis to help build out our team at Plaid.
Responsibilities
Deliver data analysis and support for key People initiatives, including semi-annual performance evaluations, promotions, employee surveys, talent reviews, and special projects
Create and manage foundational data products that analyze People data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that inform strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency
Develop and employ machine learning models to predict future trends and outcomes across People functions
Serve as a trusted advisor to the People Team with self-service data capabilities, enabling them to access and analyze data independently
Partner in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and datasets that support cross-functional analytics and strategic decision-making
Qualifications
2+ yrs in a People Analytics, Recruiting Analytics, or other People related research or reporting role
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other similar programming languages
Fluent with reporting tools such as Mode/Looker/Tableau
Proven ability to scale data reports and experience working with large and complex datasets
Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
Commitment to a high level of ownership, confidentiality, and detail
$120,960 - $166,320 a year
Target base salary for this role is between $120,960 and $166,320 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
