Role Overview: As a Partner Director, you will lead the commercial and strategic success of some of CitySwift’s largest and most complex customer relationships. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across public or private sector partners, ensuring alignment between CitySwift’s product and services and the customer’s long-term goals.
You will oversee cross-functional project delivery, renewal strategy, and strategic account growth, working closely with colleagues in your own pod, other pods, product, tech, solutions, sales and the executive team to ensure every partnership delivers measurable value and return on investment.
This is a high-impact role for a senior partner leader who thrives in complex stakeholder environments, excels at strategic planning, and is motivated by improving cities and communities through better public transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, acting as the senior point of contact across commercial, operational, and executive stakeholders
Develop multi-year strategic account plans aligned to customer priorities and CitySwift’s growth goals
Own the delivery of customer outcomes, ensuring measurable ROI, satisfaction, and long-term impact
Monitor & increase usage and performance metrics to proactively identify opportunities for improvement or value realisation
Collaborate with Sales to identify and lead renewal and upsell opportunities, including commercial negotiation and proposal creation
Oversee onboarding and delivery of high-value or complex projects across your portfolio
Collaborate cross-functionally with solutions, product, tech, marketing, and sales to deliver value
Use data and insight to influence customer strategy and build compelling narratives that support adoption and expansion
Anticipate challenges, de-risk delivery, and serve as an escalation point for senior partner stakeholders
Coach and mentor Partner Managers and Analysts within your pod that are supporting your accounts
Represent the voice of the customer at internal meetings
Act as a role model within the pod for high performance, teamwork, accountability and problem solving
Work closely with the Head of Pod to identify cross-pod dependencies and share best practices across the partner management function
Collaborate with the Head of Pod to forecast renewals, identify risks, and align on commercial opportunities across accounts
Deputise Head of Pod as required.
Qualifications, skills & experience:
Extensive experience in strategic account management, customer success, project management or consulting within Public Transport or SaaS (ideally with enterprise or public sector clients)
Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience managing C-level, director level and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen, confident supporting Sales with contract negotiations whilst owning renewal and account planning
Skilled in managing complex delivery programmes with multiple dependencies and teams
Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with performance data and impact metrics; able to translate insights into strategy
Passion for technology, public transport, and sustainability is a strong advantage
Knowledge around commercial or franchised bus operations or experience working within a public authority is a bonus but not required
Fluency in French is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
