Oracle Cloud Procurement Techno-Functional Developer Summary Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement Techno-Functional Developer to lead the ongoing design, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud Procurement solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both technical and functional areas of Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement, including Supplier Management, Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, and integration with other Oracle Cloud modules (Finance, etc.). This role demands a mix of hands-on technical configuration, functional solutioning, and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and align solutions with business objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze procurement requirements and translate them into Oracle Procurement Cloud solutions.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in procurement business processes, including sourcing, supplier management, requisitioning, approvals, and purchase orders.

  • Configure Oracle Fusion Procurement modules, including Self-Service Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Portal, Sourcing, and Procurement Contracts.

  • Design and develop customizations, extensions, and integrations within Oracle Cloud Procurement.

  • Automate procurement workflows and approval hierarchies using Oracle BPM or integrated tools.

  • Support the integration between Oracle Cloud Procurement and other internal or third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Support the creation of meaningful custom reports, forms, and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI.

  • Collaborate with security team to implement appropriate security protocols for procurement data and workflows.

  • Assist with the migration and validation of procurement-related data during implementation or system upgrades.

  • Oversee the preparation of technical design documents, unit test cases, and user guides for developed solutions.

  • Help drive successful adoption of Oracle Procurement solutions through end user workshops and training sessions.

  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for procurement solutions by identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.

  • Support the implementation of procurement policies and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle Procurement implementations.

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement.

  • Strong functional knowledge of procurement processes, including requisitioning, supplier management, sourcing, contracts, and approvals.

  • Proven expertise in Oracle Procurement Cloud configuration, customization, and integration.

  • Strong experience with procurement workflows and automation using Oracle BPM.

  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Java, or related programming languages.

  • Proficiency in integration frameworks, including REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and file-based data exchange to enable Oracle Procurement.

  • Knowledge on how Oracle tools such as OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI enable Oracle Procurement.

  • Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion security and role management and proper configuration of Oracle Cloud Procurement.

  • Experience leading Oracle Cloud Procurement projects, enhancements, and upgrades.

  • Knowledge of integration with other Oracle Cloud modules, such as Financials, Payables, or Inventory.

  • Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Certifications in Oracle Procurement Cloud and/or Oracle ERP Cloud.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage concurrent efforts, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
