Onboarding Specialist
***This position is Remote*** Job Summary
The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for engaging customers to swiftly and efficiently migrate their data into a Henry Schein One software application. The Onboarding Specialists objective is to accelerate the rollout of the customers' PMS, RCM and Patient Experience tools to ensure a frictionless end user experience. Successful individuals in this role will demonstrate genuine collaboration with customers and other Henry Schein One team members.
What you will do
Client Onboarding & Setup:
Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, including initial consultations, account setup, data migration, and tailoring of the software according to client requirements.
Collaborate with dental practice staff to understand their workflow, pain points, and specific needs, tailoring the setup process to ensure the software meets their operational goals.
Client Relationship Building:
Build strong relationships with dental practice owners, office managers, and staff to encourage engagement, adoption, and long-term satisfaction with the software.
Gather feedback from clients to identify opportunities for improvement and relay client suggestions and concerns to the product and support teams.
Provide ongoing guidance throughout the onboarding phase, answering questions and guiding new customers through a framework of best practice.
Project Coordination & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during onboarding, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the process.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Customer Support) to address any unique client requirements and provide feedback for product improvements.
Track and document the onboarding progress, keeping the client and internal teams informed of milestones and any delays or changes to the schedule.
Travel/Physical Demands
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
Qualifications Must have:
Typically, 4 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
Industry knowledge required.
Prior work experience coordinating projects, organizing work, setting priorities, meeting deadlines and follow up on assignments with a minimum direction; as well as using initiative and independent judgement within established policy and procedure guidelines.
Experience using Salesforce & Microsoft Office
Understand the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of Customer Experience
Practice management software and services including Henry Schein solutions experience.
Good understanding of industry practices.
Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures
Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques
Good decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good presentation and public speaking skills
Good interpersonal skills
Basic conflict resolution skills
Developing professional credibility
Nice to have:
Dental or medical experience preferred.
The posted range for this position is which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a target bonus not reflected in the posted range. The posted base range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.This is the expected range for an employee who is new to the role, to fully proficient in the role.
