Network Engineer
Role Description
We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer to join Dropbox’s Corporate IT team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior and mid-level engineers to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, office environments, wireless networks, and cloud platforms. This position offers hands-on experience with network automation, performance tuning, cloud networking, and security. You’ll contribute to key initiatives while helping to advance the team’s capabilities in automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure consolidation.

Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize networks using tools like Datadog, Kentik, and synthetic testing
Support network deployments, upgrades, and retrofits across data centers and offices
Assist with daily network operations, stand-ups, and vendor coordination
Contribute to Aruba Cloud wireless migrations and ongoing wireless infrastructure management
Support networking efforts across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI, including VPC design and routing/security optimization
Assist with Zscaler implementations, including disaster recovery and business continuity projects
Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Ansible and Python
Automate network provisioning with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
Maintain and improve tooling like NetBox, Oxidized, ACL management, and IPAM systems
Document network architecture, procedures, and runbooks
Support network segmentation, traffic inspection, and secrets management
Contribute to performance tuning to improve network reliability and end-user experience
On-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers.
Requirements
2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms
Familiarity with network automation using Ansible, Python, and Terraform
Understanding of cloud networking in AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
Experience with DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and enterprise Wi-Fi
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, Kentik, NetBox, and IPAM
Basic understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
Interest in zero trust security (Zscaler) and network performance optimization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Aruba wireless (on-prem and cloud)
Familiarity with Zscaler tools (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC)
Knowledge of Vault or similar secrets management platforms
Understanding of container and Kubernetes networking
Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and runbooks
Compensation
Dropbox applies increased tax deductible costs to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an “author”) for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
Poland Pay Range
176 000 zł—238 000 zł PLN
