Vidyard is the leading provider of AI-powered video messaging and engagement solutions for modern revenue teams. Trusted by 100,000+ companies, Vidyard helps go-to-market teams connect with buyers more personally and effectively at scale - accelerating deal cycles, increasing close rates, and humanizing digital communication. With AI video tools, real-time analytics, and automated workflows, Vidyard is redefining how companies grow revenue through video.

About the Role

Vidyard is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will play a key role in managing complex sales cycles within the Upmarket segment (501–5,000 employee organizations). You will be responsible for clearly articulating the value of Vidyard’s solutions and tailoring them to address each customer’s unique business challenges.

This is a critical role in helping accelerate Vidyard’s growth. We’re looking for strong problem-solvers and consultative sellers who prioritize understanding customer needs and delivering meaningful solutions over transactional selling. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive new business and long-term value for customers.

This is a remote-first role open to candidates located in Canada.

About the Team

Our New Business Sales team (known as the Jolly Rogers) is a tight-knit group of five sellers aligned across all market segments with a primary mandate of bringing new customers to Vidyard. The team is responsible for driving net-new revenue by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective customers who can benefit from Vidyard’s video and AI solutions. While the core focus is new logo acquisition, the team also maintains ownership of newly acquired customers for their first eight months to support early adoption and uncover expansion opportunities. We achieve this through strong prospecting and alignment with our SDRs, consultative sales conversations, and close collaboration with Marketing, Sales Development, Solutions Engineering and Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to long-term customer.

What You’ll Work On

  • Managing Mid-Market sales cycles (working with orgs between 500-5,000 employees)

  • Sourcing and developing a pipeline of new opportunities

  • Ownership of fast and high volume transactions

  • Managing relationships with new and existing customers

  • Presenting the value of our solutions to the customers’ individual needs (based on deep, thoughtful discovery to uncover customer challenges and objectives).

  • Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement

  • Operational rigor when reporting sales activity and identifying areas to improve processes

  • Performing online demos of our product

  • Focusing on establishing Vidyard as a trusted business partner for target accounts

  • Managing your own data and metrics - we aim to be a highly disciplined and rigorous organization that tracks leading indicator metrics that will lead to success.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6 years of sales experience; preference for experience with SaaS based organizations

  • Full cycle sales experience

  • Solid understanding of SaaS concepts such as ARR, AOV, MRR, Churn, etc.

  • Track-record of over-achieving quota/targets

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Experience with outbound prospecting and proven self-sourced pipeline

  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
