Marketing Advisor Sr.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To develop the marketing strategy and provide project management for one or more of the following areas: branding, content development, digital strategy or market intelligence.
Branding focuses on all brand activities including maintaining global identities in concert with legal and other marketing areas and oversees brand-related initiatives including high-level integration initiatives.
Content development oversees writing and design for all lines of business and audiences (internal and external).
Digital strategy oversees digital applications with complex deliverables as a part of Marketing’s promote and engage efforts.
Market Intelligence provides strategic support and oversees market and competitive intelligence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages projects with complex deliverables.
Responsible for project management plans, working with in-house and outside resources to develop high-impact programs to establish and enhance brands, develop thought leadership and promote content, and support market intelligence needs.
Ensures the execution of corporate events, marketing projects, and promotional campaigns to support company growth and client retention goals.
Responsible for managing assigned projects within timeframe, project budgets and deliverables.
Maintains a working knowledge of all aspects of property, casualty, and disability TPA services including claims, managed care, and ancillary services such as alternative risk to support global marketing programs.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Travels as required.
Education & Licensing Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing or communications preferred.
Experience Eight (8) years of experience in marketing, communications, market research or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated skills in project management for marketing initiatives
Proficient in technology to support work (Adobe creative suite and market intelligence platforms)
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to details, deadlines, and budget restraints
Layout and design knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $75,000-$90,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
