Manager - Strategy & Analytics
Influential is looking for an enterprising Manager, Strategy & Analytics, to help drive the planning and execution of integrated influencer marketing initiatives, with a focus on delivering innovative always-on and campaign strategy, as well as competitive and category insights, for one or more of our world-class Luxury Beauty clients. This role is responsible for identifying and driving client-growth opportunities while fostering thinking that helps deliver on our clients’ business goals. This role works directly with clients to help define their goals, realize success metrics, and develop and activate strategies in collaboration with our agency’s Creator Management, Client Solutions, and Creative teams.
On a typical day you can expect to:
Partner with your Strategy & Analytics (S&A) manager and team members, Client Solutions leads, as well as Creative and Creator Management peers, to develop and drive insight-driven strategies for select accounts in the Luxury Beauty space
Ensure the account media plan, messaging and measurement approach aligns with the account strategy and client’s business goals
Present/pitch the data-driven strategic approach to the client, with the goal of aligning the client’s KPIs, securing client buy-in and trust, and successfully implementing the plan to achieve business outcomes
Work with the account team to interpret and present campaign data, providing recommended adjustments and optimizations leading to improved performance and brand/client success
Provide sound business justifications for further strategic investments in influencer marketing based on analysis of market trends, audience insights, past campaign data, and your past experience
Leads the campaign recap process by translating campaign data into actionable insights and future optimizations across audience targeting, creative, planning, and media
This specific Manager, Strategy & Analytics, role will require:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years agency experience in omnichannel marketing, influencer marketing, media buying/planning, and/or previous strategy/analytics roles
Experience in-house or at an agency working on digital marketing, influencer and/or social media for Luxury brands (luxury beauty brands a major plus); understanding the pace, expectations and ethos of this space will be a key to success
Knowledgeable of all major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest; X/Twitter, Snapchat, and Reddit experience is a plus, but not required
A client-service-focused strategist with a proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic, who enjoys a fast-paced environment, and effectively balances strong analytical skills and creative thinking
Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and apply strategic thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with external and internal stakeholders
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, vlookups) and Google Suite
2-3+ years of experience with influencer marketing platforms (e.g., Traackr, Sprout Social/Tagger, Radius, etc.); especially comfortable with pulling and analyzing creator, campaign, and competitive data
Experience constructing Boolean queries and using social listening tools (i.e., QUID/Netbase, Brandwatch, Infegy, etc.) to analyze mentions, sentiment, consumer cohorts, and trends
Knowledge of leveraging social content data and providing actionable insights and recommendations on content strategies
A proven track record in effectively managing your own workload and proactively communicating with key stakeholders
And bonus points for:
A personal passion for and interest in Luxury brands, the Beauty space, Social Media and Influencer trends, and Pop Culture
Proven success developing and implementing innovative and ROI-focused ideas
Proven ability to successfully work with and guide senior-level clients and internal portfolio teams
Proficiency in media planning and/or syndicated research tools such as YouGov, GWI, Helixa, and Simmons
Experience with survey design and quantitative survey analysis for audience segmentation and insights
Ability to thrive within a dynamic and evolving environment
Salary Range:
$100K - $115K
