Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

The Talent Acquisition team plays a critical role in ensuring we hire exceptional people who align with our mission and values. We’re a lean, high-impact team that values creativity, clarity, and systems thinking! We’re looking for a Manager of Recruiting Operations to help us improve and strengthen how we hire at Mozilla. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll lead a team focused on simplifying, refining, and enhancing the systems, workflows, and tools that power our hiring process. You’ll report to our Director of TA and work closely with recruiters, PBPs, and finance partners to create a more agile, insight-driven operation.

We’re seeking someone deeply systems-savvy. Someone who’s comfortable assessing what’s working, identifying what needs to change, and thoughtfully improving our existing processes. You’ll also bring strong people leadership experience to coach and support a high-performing team.

A key focus will be leveraging AI tools and automation thoughtfully to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance the experience for candidates and hiring managers.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the Recruiting Operations team, providing structure, coaching, and guidance.

  • Own our recruiting systems and workflows, including Greenhouse, Jira, and integrations with Workday, HireEZ, and AI-driven tools.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve core recruiting processes based on business needs.

  • Partner with finance and HR to build frameworks for headcount planning, prioritization, and TA capacity tracking.

  • Lead development of recruiting dashboards and reporting in collaboration with data and people analytics partners.

  • Build playbooks and enablement resources that enhance the recruiting experience for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Apply AI and automation solutions to drive greater efficiency and reduce manual overhead in recruiting operations.

  • Operate with agility, balancing immediate business needs with ongoing process improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in recruiting operations, people operations, or talent systems roles, with 3+ years of direct people management experience.

  • Strong background in managing ATS systems and workflows (Greenhouse experience preferred).

  • Experience translating recruiting data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Success leading cross-functional projects involving both technical systems and human processes.

  • A flexible, systems-oriented approach with the ability to zoom out strategically and zoom in tactically.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in mid-market or global environments undergoing transformation.

  • Familiarity with compensation workflows, headcount forecasting, and talent analytics.

What you’ll get:

  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team

  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)

  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together

  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday

  • One-time home office stipend

  • Annual professional development budget

  • Quarterly well-being stipend

  • Considerable paid parental leave

  • Employee referral bonus program

  • Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)
