As part of this journey, we are looking for a Manager, Data Quality to shape and mentor our growing Systems Acceleration & Data Quality team and lead our enterprise-wide data quality initiatives.

In this role, you will be part of the Sales Systems Acceleration & Data Quality Team that sits within our Global Sales Operations Organization. You will work closely with the Sales, Sales Strategy and Flywheel Product functions and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure data integrity across critical business systems and drive innovative data quality programs that enable trusted data for operational excellence. A key focus will be on leveraging AI-powered tools and machine learning techniques to automate data profiling, anomaly detection and remediation.

What you’ll do:

This role can be broken into two focus areas:

Leadership:

  • Be an exemplary people manager to the employees on this team, which includes building psychological safety, mentorship and career development in a remote environment.

  • You hold your teams to a high standard and are an excellent communicator.

  • Ability to lead through change and comfort with ambiguity.

  • Proactive leadership and engagement (you don’t need to be “told” to do something, you seek out opportunities to improve the team and the company.)

  • Lead teams through coaching, empowering, hiring, and retaining talent; Leading with HEART .

Strategy & Execution:

  • Partner with GTM teams, Master Data Management, Regional Sales Operations, Engineering, Product, and UX to buy or drive the configuration of systems that are useful, usable and solve real customer + internal pain.

  • Maintain a pulse on the Data Quality market trends, best practices, and evolutions.

  • Focus on data reliability and ability to advocate for industry standard data strategy best practices.

  • Ability to lead “build versus buy” conversations and possess a deep knowledge of Data Quality tools and AI landscape.

  • Ability to evaluate and implement emerging AI-driven data quality solutions to improve automation and scalability.

  • Obsessed with solving for the customer and identifying data related pain points.

  • Focus on systems excellence, data reliability, and scale to drive meaningful business change.

  • Act independently to set objectives and hold cross functional teams accountable for progress.

Required skills:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role as a Data Quality Analyst, Manager or similar position.

  • 6+ years of experience in data management, governance, or quality roles, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience with data quality and governance tools (e.g., Experian, Atlan, Informatica DQ, Collibra, Talend, Ataccama, etc.).

  • Proven experience with managing 3rd party data vendors (use cases, strategy, ROI, contract management, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and systems.

  • Proven experience leading teams that own sales, marketing and data quality systems.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects in large or complex organizations.

  • Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning tools (e.g., for data profiling, anomaly detection, matching, and remediation).

  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)

Cash compensation range: 127000-203000 USD Annually

 

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
