Manager - Content Maintenance & Optimization
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Content Maintenance and Optimization to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for maintaining and optimizing the content of our courses. This team, comprising instructional designers, quality assurance specialists, and data system/ business analyst, is crucial to ensuring the sustained quality and relevance of our educational offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the offshore team, including instructional designers, quality assurance specialists, and data/systems analysts. 
- Work with leadership to ensure that SMART goals for the optimization team are met. Find / drive solutions that will help the team and hence the organization in meeting goals 
- Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure high-quality output. 
- Build strong relationships with key Coursera stakeholders (e.g. Partner Success, Partner Implementation, Design, etc.) and thereby manage/lead Optimization related threads 
- Report metrics and project updates to internal stakeholders regularly. 
- Collect feedback from internal stakeholders and translate it into actionable tasks for the team. 
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation. Lead initiatives that will aid in content maintenance and optimization 
- Ensure that all course revisions and updates align with organizational standards and objectives. 
- Resolve conflicts and challenges within the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 
- 10+ years of experience in a team leadership or project management role, preferably within the e-learning industry. 
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and practices. 
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
- Ability to work across time zones and manage remote teams effectively.
