Our Mission & Team
HubSpot’s mission is to help millions of organizations grow better. Our marketing organization plays a critical role in accomplishing this mission by attracting, engaging, and delighting customers at every stage of their journey.
We believe AI will be central to achieving this mission. In particular, we believe:

The team builds intelligent tools, agents, and workflows that transform how marketing operates — from content creation to campaign execution and optimization.

About the Role
As Manager of the AIMS (AI Marketing Solutions) team, you’ll lead a group of highly skilled AI Engineers who are building the next generation of marketing technology at HubSpot.
You’ll define and drive the AI strategy for HubSpot’s Marketing organization — overseeing the ideation, prioritization, and execution of initiatives that unlock new levels of marketing effectiveness through generative AI, automation, and intelligent systems.
This role blends technical leadership, product strategy, and people management. You’ll work closely with senior marketing and technology leaders, translating complex AI concepts into clear business value and ensuring that the team’s work drives measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of 4–6 AI Engineers who design, build, and scale AI-powered marketing solutions.
Define and evolve HubSpot’s AI strategy for marketing effectiveness, ensuring initiatives align with marketing goals and company priorities.
Partner with senior marketing leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities across our go-to-market — from generative content workflows to agentic systems and automation frameworks.
Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects, including scoping, experimentation, technical design, implementation, and measurement.
Coach and mentor team members in LLM prompting, agent design, RAG systems, API integrations, and AI application architecture.
Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical audiences — communicating progress, insights, and challenges to executives and cross-functional partners.
Establish frameworks and best practices for rapid prototyping, safe deployment, and documentation of AI-driven tools.
Collaborate across Go-to-Market, Product, and Data teams to integrate AI into key workflows and customer experiences.
Report on progress, adoption, and performance impact of AI initiatives.
Cultivate a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.
Skills and Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional engineering or AI teams, ideally in marketing or product environments.
Combines strong technical fluency (AI/ML, APIs, automation tools, cloud infrastructure) with strategic understanding of marketing systems and goals.
Demonstrates experience working with or overseeing teams that use large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, or multi-agent frameworks.
Is comfortable turning ambiguous business challenges into actionable ideas and testable soltions..
Excels at executive communication, able to translate complex AI progress into compelling business narratives.
Has a proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and deliver outcomes across multiple concurrent projects.
Brings a growth mindset — staying current with emerging AI technologies and fostering a learning culture on their team.
Is deeply collaborative, building trust and alignment across marketing, data, and product organizations.
Preferred Experience
Experience developing or managing AI-driven tools in a marketing technology ecosystem (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe, or similar).
Prior experience with prompt engineering, agentic systems, or applied LLM development.
Demonstrated success scaling early-stage AI prototypes into production or repeatable internal tools.
Familiarity with HubSpot’s marketing, automation, or data infrastructure.
