About us: Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 17 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

Job Information:

Glitch Productions is seeking an experienced Line Producer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the project. This role involves full management of the production pipeline, including staffing, scheduling, people management, and budget oversight. This role will see you collaborating with upper management, showrunners, and key stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and without compromising creativity, artist capacity or quality.

Your duties will include:

  • Establishing and optimizing the entire production pipeline to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

  • Developing and managing departmental budgets for each episode.

  • Collaborating with production staff to break down episodes and ensuring they remain within scope and budget constraints.

  • Strategically planning and setting key milestones and deadlines for all departments and episodes.

  • Supervising and planning daily operations and working closely with production teams and show leadership to ensure timely delivery of episodes.

  • Orchestrating and directing production meetings.

  • Managing personnel, including resolving conflicts and maintaining a productive team environment.

  • Working with leadership and HR to identify staffing needs, and assisting in recruitment and onboarding processes.

A successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years experience in animation production or a similar role.

  • Strong Leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent production strategy and decision making skills.

  • Ability to identify and resolve production issues ahead of time.

  • Experience in budget and scope management.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and management skills.

  • Strong proficiency in shot production management software. E.g. Autodesk Flow (Shotgrid).

  • Experience with working in a Toon Boom Harmony pipeline.

  • Expertise in optimizing team composition and identifying necessary roles.

Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D animation production.

  • Experience in recruitment and staff training.

  • Strong artistic skills and a keen creative vision.

  • Engaging personality and willingness to learn.

  • Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.

  • An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or internet nerd culture.
