As a Junior–Middle QA Engineer at MGID, you will ensure the quality and stability of internal products used daily by our managers worldwide. Your mission is to test new features, safeguard existing functionality, and proactively identify issues before they impact business processes.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, a product owner, a product manager, and another QA engineer, while being supported by an experienced team lead. The environment is stable, mature, and collaborative, giving you both guidance and space to grow.

This position is based in Ukraine or Europe, with flexibility to work remotely. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone early in their QA career who is eager to learn, take ownership, and gradually expand into automation in the future.

Who You Are

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in testing web projects.

  • You possess knowledge of testing methods including functional, regression, and non-functional testing.

  • You have experience in API testing and understand the HTTP protocol (requests, responses).

  • You have excellent knowledge of the bug life cycle.

  • You have good knowledge of MySQL and ClickHouse.

  • You have practical experience with Postman.

  • You have experience in creating and maintaining test documentation.

  • You have experience with test management systems (e.g., TestRail).

  • You have excellent knowledge of the SDLC.

  • You have experience with GIT.

  • You have experience working with Jira, YouTrack, or similar tools.

  • You have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

It will be a plus if:

  • You have experience with AdTech products.

  • You have experience working in product companies or on long-term stable projects.

  • You possess skills in working with the Linux console and SSH.

Languages:

  • You are fluent in Ukrainian.

  • You have Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate English proficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform functional and non-functional testing of the product.

  • Analyze test results and provide clear feedback to the team.

  • Track and manage the full life cycle of bugs, from detection to resolution.

  • Re-test bugs to ensure issues are resolved and quality is maintained.

  • Analyze and clarify requirements in collaboration with developers and product managers.

  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including checklists and test cases.

  • Create and update manual and automation test cases as needed.

  • Set up and execute test runs with actual test cases in each Story.

  • Support and participate in test case review practices within the team.
