We’re looking for a highly skilled Jr UX/UI Designer with 3+ years of experience designing world-class digital experiences for web and mobile. If you excel at turning complex problems into intuitive interfaces and want to make a real impact in the financial technology space, this role is for you.

About the Role

As a UX/UI Designer at Blossom, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our digital products. You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, and other designers to translate business needs into clean, intuitive, and scalable interfaces.

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end design solutions—from user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity screens and interactive prototypes. You’ll also contribute to the evolution of our Design System, ensuring consistency, scalability, and visual excellence across all products.

This position requires strong command of UX principles, exceptional visual design skills, and advanced mastery of Figma. You will help build meaningful user experiences that truly impact credit unions and their members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design, or related field; or completion of specialized UX/UI courses or certifications.

• 3+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design roles.

• Experience designing for both web and mobile.

• Strong portfolio showcasing UX process, UI craftsmanship, and digital product thinking.

Tools & Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (mandatory):

  • Components & variants

  • Contribution to and management of Design Systems

  • Figma libraries

  • High-fidelity prototyping, smart animations, auto-layout

• Strong understanding of UX principles, UI design, and end-to-end design workflows.

• Solid visual design skills:

  • Typography

  • Layout & spacing systems

  • Color theory

  • Visual hierarchy

• Ability to create responsive and scalable interfaces following best practices.

• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design

Additional Valuable Skills (Nice to Have)

• Understanding of basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
