IT and Security Specialist

IT and Security Specialist Position Overview Hostaway is seeking an experienced and innovative IT and Security Specialist to join our team and drive our growth within the short-term rental space. They will be the sole individual in this area of the business and they will need to be comfortable with hands-on work as well as planning mid to long term company IT needs. Your Mission: ● Design and implement IT & security projects, tasks and initiatives to align with the company's growth goals. ● Create and manage a strategy centered on AI for self-support IT services for our globally distributed team. ● Identify chances for tech improvements to boost business expansion and operational effectiveness. ● Handle and oversee device and end-point security. ● Update and improve security guidelines and practices to protect company information and reduce cyber threats. ● Assess and choose technology suppliers and services, negotiate agreements and manage laptop supplier relationships. ● Oversee the tracking, storage, and distribution of company-owned devices, including the processes for new and departing team members.

Requirements:

● 3+ years in a similar hands-on role

● Experience implementing and managing device and end-point security systems and processes

● Experience remotely supporting a distributed workforce

● Strong customer centric mindset

● Fluent in English (Writing/Speaking)

● Previous experience working remotely
