iOS Software Engineer 5 - Member Engineering

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive innovation by delivering delightful experiences to Netflix members on the iOS app. Our work spans rapid development of highly visible product experiences to long term maintenance needs that enables existing and future innovations. We care deeply about UI performance, quality, and accessibility of the Netflix iOS app. To bring new kinds of engaging and cinematic experiences to life, we partner closely with many cross-functional teams including product management, experience design, and creative production.

In this role you will:
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to build delightful, performant, and accessible consumer-facing experiences through experimentation by using Swift on the client and GraphQL as our shared data access technology.
Develop maintainable code that is robust over time, with effective automation and documentation to support knowledge sharing within the team.
Act as a strategic partner with product management to scope projects, with designers to refine UI specifications, and with engineering teams to collaborate on shared infrastructure. This includes considering business, product, and architectural trade-offs to inform your software designs.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
