Inventory Analyst

As an Inventory Analyst at Paula’s Choice, you will be responsible for the planning and allocation of finished goods inventory. This role will join a team that is central to all matters related to inventory management. We are adding new channels, countries and growing the business every day. You will have a significant impact on our ability to ensure the product is in the right place at the right time!
This role requires a self-motivated problem solver who has demonstrated success in simultaneously managing a variety of projects. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of exceptional written and oral communication skills and impeccable attention to detail who can help us continue to deliver the highest quality products to market. As a member of our team, this role will join a close-knit group of focused individuals with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
As an Inventory Analyst, a typical day might include a mix of the following:
Optimize inventory across multiple distribution nodes and channels, providing inbound/outbound forecasting by distribution center, and ensuring proper placement of goods to support global deployment strategies
Analyze and prepare a bi-weekly inventory deployment plan
Monitor service level, out-of-stocks, and expiry risk for channel
Manage inventory in support of new product launches and promotions
Operate as inventory deployment primary point person for designated channel, advising risk and opportunities to partner commitments
Primary liaison to Transportation team for domestic shipments, aligning on timing and volume to achieve revenue targets
Prepare and analyze inventory reports for management and other stakeholders
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement

Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager
The Details:
Location: We are based in Seattle, WA. Flexible to location, but local candidates are preferred.
Hours: Typical business hours PST
Physical requirements: Ability to sit and handle screen time for long periods of time
Travel requirements: Up to 10% domestic travel
What you’ll bring to the table:
2-4 years of professional experience with inventory allocation, warehouse, and logistics concepts
Experience with managing inventory flow between multiple distribution nodes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to navigate large data sets
Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
Experience working with cross-functional teams, with strong communication skills
What can help you really stand out:
Experience working with ERP and WMS systems (NetSuite a plus)
Prior experience working with B2B business models
Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:
$70,000 - $80,000 USD/annually
