About the job

This position is needed to deliver exceptional data-driven experiences for our customers. Help us unlock the full potential of our customer and business data! As an Integrations Engineer on our Data Activation & Enablement team, you will ensure data is integrated, processed, and activated across multiple systems to create actionable insights and personalized customer experiences. You will work closely with teams across the organization—such as marketing, analytics, data science, product, sales, and customer success—to streamline data workflows, automate processes, and drive results through data-driven initiatives.

Your work will directly affect the company’s ability to understand its customers, respond to their needs, and deliver exceptional experiences. You'll help turn insights into actions, fueling personalized marketing campaigns, product innovations, and customer-centric strategies that ultimately lead to business growth and competitive advantage. You'll be at the heart of making data the most valuable asset for the company.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Integrate data from various sources (e.g., CRM, transactional systems, marketing platforms) into central systems (e.g., Customer Data Platform or CDP).

  • Work with cross-functional teams to activate customer and business data across marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and other customer engagement platforms.

  • Ensure that data flows seamlessly between systems and is optimized for usage in marketing, sales, and customer experience initiatives.

  • Design and implement data pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring that data is cleaned, structured, and ready for analysis or activation.

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data processing solutions.

  • Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.

  • Automate data workflows to ensure that data is continuously updated, accurate, and available for real-time activation.

  • Implement scheduling and automation processes that reduce manual intervention and streamline data management tasks.

  • Utilize scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Apache Airflow) to optimize data processes.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, engineering, and customer success teams to understand their data needs and activate data across the right channels.

  • Help teams leverage customer data for personalized marketing campaigns, sales outreach, and customer service initiatives.

  • Provide technical support for teams using data activation platforms to ensure they can effectively leverage data for their needs.

  • Ensure that customer and business data is used in compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Implement data security best practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing.

  • Maintain data quality by monitoring data flows, identifying discrepancies, and addressing issues as they arise.

  • Monitor the performance of data activation workflows and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

  • Analyze data workflows to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and improve overall system efficiency.

  • Regularly test data pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability of activated data.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data activation and integration.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the data activation infrastructure, recommending new tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency.

  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms that could help streamline data activation and improve business outcomes.
