We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of IT Application Operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and have 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations and be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking, cloud environments, on-prem systems, and DevOps practices. Knowledge of the following enterprise systems: Alteryx, Boomi, Power Automate, PowerShell, NetSuite, Salesforce, OpenAI, Boomi, Aleryx Workflow, FormAssembly, Openair, Workday, and Microsoft 365 platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex IT environments.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
3–7 years in infrastructure engineering, system administration, or a related IT field
Expertise in Linux/Windows server administration, virtualization, virtual desktops, MS Intune, MS Entra
Strong knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, Domain)
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible)
Proficiency with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., MS PureView, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
Certifications (preferred): AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, SecOps Administration, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+/Security+
Advance understanding of ITSM service delivery operations, intake and catalog management
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
What You’ll Do:
Manage the day-to-day operations of IT applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability
Manage daily service desk requests and interactions with our MSP / MSSP provider
Lead the IT Application Operations function, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of services and projects
Manage the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, Microsoft Azure/Entra, SecOps, End Points, Firewalls, Email Filters and MSP oversight to ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability for the following applications: Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, OpenAir, and Microsoft 365 platform
Develop and implement strategies for effective operation and optimization of IT applications while aligning initiatives with business objectives to drive performance and growth
Understanding of integration and ETL to Alteryx and Boomi to manage and streamline integration processes
Implement best practices for data integration and transformation, including facilitating the integration of applications and data of acquired companies
Design and implement scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and performance of IT applications by proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal system functionality
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business units to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT applications with business processes
Ensure that all IT applications comply with regulatory and security requirements
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems
Participate in cybersecurity assessments and audits and understanding NIST CST or other cyber frameworks
Legal discovery of data in our cloud platform
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, and oversee the procurement and implementation of third-party solutions to support IT operations
$117,000 - $177,000 a year
The expected pay range for this position is $117,000 - $177,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
