The Legal team charter covers a number of areas to include global immigration support and compliance. Our mission is to provide excellent internal client service to our employees and cross-functional teams in the immigration space.  

We are looking for an Immigration Specialist to help support the Company’s growing immigration needs. In this role, you will report into Reddit’s Global Immigration Program Manager and handle a variety of U.S. and global immigration matters within the Company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and monitor case initiations and extensions of non-immigrant and immigrant visas. 

  • Track and monitor applications throughout the entire immigration process.

  • Respond to immigration-related inquiries from employees and outside counsel.  

  • Work with cross-functional teams on employee immigration matters, including updating internal documentation on immigration processing, status and compliance).

  • Monitor and track all active U.S. and global immigration cases.

  • Answer day-to-day immigration questions from internal stakeholders and outside vendors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 2-5 years of immigration experience. 

  • Familiarity with filing processes and compliance issues related to U.S. non-immigrant visa categories such as the H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, O-1.

  • Familiarity with the PERM process.

  • Familiarity with the I-9 process / eligible documentation.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with global immigration filings in non-US markets (i.e., EMEA / APAC).

  • Familiarity working with Greenhouse & Workday HR systems.

  • Prior experience working for a high-growth tech company.
