Figma is looking for an experienced advanced comp expert to leverage your technical Workday skills to translate business needs to scalable and repeatable solutions.  After 3 years on Workday we have a great foundation - now comes the fun part of enhancing our processes and introducing new functionality! You will work on a variety of projects including building out new compensation plans and designing and launching our annual merit cycle.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design, configure, test, and launch new features and updates in multiple modules with a high focus on advanced compensation. 

  • Make configuration recommendations based on business needs, WD best practices, and system limitations; effectively translate Workday specific information to partner audiences 

  • Design, build, test, and launch our bi-annual merit cycle including cash and stock matrices

  • Build new compensation plans to meet changing business needs including one time payments

  • Configure business processes, build reports, update security groups, and upload data across Workday

  • Partner with other HRIS teammates on various cross functional projects 

  • Document systems processes and procedures for sustainability

  • Adhere to HRIS’s change control and peer review processes

  • Participate in the development of Workday roadmap

  • Mentor and train teammates in advanced comp configuration

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of Workday configuration experience with comprehensive knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation

  • Demonstrated experience in complex advanced comp configuration including merit matrixes, performance multipliers, new comp plan launches. 

  • Demonstrated experience building sustainable global processes that scale

  • Advanced knowledge of Workday reporting including building complex calculated fields

  • Proficient knowledge of Workday security

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience contributing to a data governance structure, SOX compliance, ITCG controls.
