HR Business Partner
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner to support employees and leaders across Mexico and the broader LATAM region. This role will partner closely with managers located in the U.S., Canada, and other global locations, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment between HR practices, local regulations, and business needs. Experience in a tech, SaaS, or product-driven environment is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic people partner to leaders across multiple regions, providing guidance on employee relations, organizational planning, talent development, performance management, and compensation.
Act as the first point of contact for HR matters across Mexico and LATAM, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and internal HR policies.
Manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, documentation, and conflict resolution in a fair, objective, and confidential manner.
Support and guide leaders located outside of Mexico (e.g., U.S., Canada) with local context and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant and culturally aligned decision-making.
Partner with Global HR, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Compensation, and Learning & Development to support hiring, onboarding, engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
Contribute to global and regional HR projects, HR process improvements, and change management initiatives.
Analyze HR data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
Support HR compliance, documentation, reporting, and audits aligned with both local and global requirements.
Drive initiatives that support employee engagement, culture building, and a positive employee experience.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or advanced HR Generalist role.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mexico and Costa Rica labor law (required).
Familiarity with Argentina labor regulations and broader LATAM employment frameworks (preferred).
Experience supporting managers across multiple countries and time zones.
Previous experience working in a Technology, SaaS, IT services, or product-based organization (preferred).
Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Proven ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex and sensitive situations with professionalism.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
