THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite has built a world-class events marketplace, enabling entrepreneurs around the world to build and grow their businesses by hosting ticketed live events and helping event-goers discover unique, local events they’ll want to attend.

We are looking for an experienced and highly strategic Product Marketing Lead, focused on championing the needs of our users and bringing innovative product experiences to market. This role is responsible for developing and executing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Eventbrite’s suite of products and services. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and other key stakeholders, to ensure alignment and success.

THE TEAM

This role will be a part of the Product Marketing team at Eventbrite. Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to champion the needs of event creators and consumers to bring irresistible product experiences to market, ensuring customers on both sides of the marketplace understand how Eventbrite’s products and features can enable them to successfully achieve their event-related goals. We are a small and scrappy team that works cross-functionally to act on customer and market insights by influencing multiple teams such as Product, Brand, Sales, and Support, developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for Eventbrite’s suite of products and services.

THE ROLE

As a Group Product Marketing Lead, you will drive strategic initiatives, launch new features, and scale our product solutions. You will play a critical role in defining and executing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging, and influencing complex business decisions that shape the future of Eventbrite. You will operate across multiple features, projects, and stakeholders, maintaining a holistic, high-level perspective

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and hands-on execution. You should be comfortable leading through ambiguity, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and taking ownership of high-impact projects. You will act as a thought leader within the company, bringing insights from the market, competitors, and data to inform key business decisions.

YOU WILL

  • Foster Strategic Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with other Product Marketing leaders to develop holistic strategies that enhance user experiences and maximize impact beyond existing team structures.

  • Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Drive adoption of new products and features through compelling messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies.

  • Influence Complex Business Decisions: Use data-driven insights to guide product and business strategies, including revenue growth opportunities beyond your direct scope.

  • Own Key Metrics: Define, track, and communicate success metrics for new strategies and investments, ensuring alignment across teams.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.

  • Communicate at All Levels: Craft high-impact presentations and narratives for senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.

  • Solve Ambiguous Challenges: Identify areas of opportunity, proactively address business problems, and drive strategic initiatives from ideation to execution.

  • Be a Player-Coach: Set clear expectations for teammates, provide mentorship, and foster a high-performance culture within the team.

THE SKILLSET

  • Product Marketing Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong track record of launching, growing, and scaling products. Requires BS/BA Degree, MBA/MA/MS is a plus.

  • Results-Driven & Action-Oriented: Thrives on setting and exceeding business targets, with a strong bias for action—identifying opportunities and swiftly translating them into impactful tactics.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights, navigating ambiguity, and reducing uncertainty to drive strategic outcomes.

  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Adept at balancing long-term vision with short-term execution, making sound business decisions independently while driving meaningful results.

  • Leadership & Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams, influence senior leadership, and drive alignment.

  • Exceptional Communication & Storytelling: Strong ability to craft compelling narratives, deliver polished presentations, and articulate complex concepts with clarity and confidence.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Excels in fast-paced, evolving environments, demonstrating a resourceful and solutions-oriented mindset to build and scale initiatives from the ground up.
