Ardent is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our team.
This is a Remote position.
Position Description:
Ardent is looking for a talented GIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in GIS.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide technical expertise in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Create and maintain GIS database products to support various projects.
Conduct detailed analysis and provide end-user support for GIS applications.
Develop and maintain documentation on data, workflows, and processes.
Conduct testing of GIS applications to ensure functionality and performance.
Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on data, processes, and workflows.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in GIS.
Strong technical skills in GIS software and applications.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for collaboration and end-user support.
Due to the nature of the work we support, all candidates in consideration for this role must be willing to undergo the government-issued background investigation process.
