Vivor is looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. In this position you will play an integral part in developing products and features that help achieve Vivor's long-term mission of eliminating out-of-pocket costs as a barrier to care.
Vivor is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company that helps providers (hospitals, health systems and practices) to connect patients with underused financial assistance resources. We make a cloud-based financial assistance platform that identifies eligible patients, then powers the end-to-end-workflow of securing resources and reporting results. We partner with life sciences companies to ensure that their own programs are easily accessible through the Vivor platform. Our team members work remotely, and we will consider applicants based anywhere in the United States.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product team to conceptualize, design and scope new features
- Implement cross stack features and enhancements
- Perform code reviews with quality and security best practices in mind
- Become an expert in Vivor's offerings and patient financial assistance in general
- Troubleshoot and fix customer reported issues
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Proven track record of building software solutions across a variety of modern stacks and programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, C#)
- Experience building websites using modern front-end frameworks like React, AngularJS, or Ember.js
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Startup mentality, with an eagerness to seek new solutions and to take on responsibilities outside this job description
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field
- US work authorization
