Profitable B2B SaaS company, teams are based out of North America, but this role is remote from Canada. We're only open to senior Devs that don't require relocation and are eligible to work in Canada :)

About You
We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Staff/Lead Platform Engineer that wants to play a core role in the development of our core platform.
Note: This full stack role will be 50% FE (Typescript) and 50% BE (Ruby on Rails)
Example Responsibilities:
- End to End Feature development: Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end/backend-end services.
- Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.
- Building Front End Components: Building pixel-perfect front-end components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating user-focused applications and interfaces.
- Performance Optimization: Identify, assess and improve bottle-necks or scaling issues. ie looking for ways to make the product better!
Qualifications:
- 6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally Typescript)
- Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices
- Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)
- Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
