Executive Recruiter and HR Specialist
Executive Recruiter and HR Specialist Type: 1099 contract, part-time, remote Hourly rate: $26-$32 Hours: 15-20/week (potential to increase over time if desired) Start date: ASAP Position Overview/Mission: Seeking an Executive Recruiter and HR Specialist for client and internal contactto manage HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance for both client groups and internally. This role will act as a primary point of contact for HR needs and strategic partner with clients and business leaders.This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills to guide clients through the employee lifecycle while ensuring adherence to HR policies and local laws. Essential Functions:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Partner with clients to get a clear view of their strategic, financial and hiring objectives
Restructure and re-create internal and client onboarding process
Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy
Research skills to understand clients company, competitors and marketplace
Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications
Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of proactive channels and job postings through specific ATS systems
Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fitness and compatibility
Conduct confidential interviews, follow-up with references, check background and credit reports
Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
Follow up with clients and assist with the candidates transition and onboarding process
Network and build long-lasting client relationships
Know the area of expertise (specialized industry or job function)
Research and develop recruiting leads and proactively have creative sourcing skills
Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings
HR Operations and Employee Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, understanding their unique needs and collaborating to develop and implement HR solutions.
Leverage HR metrics, KPIs, and analytics to create an effective HR strategy, making informed decisions to deliver business value by utilizing data-driven HR strategies.
Manage and coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for new clients and consultants, ensuring a smooth transition
Guide employers on HR best practices, including bonus plan implementation, performance appraisals, performance improvement plans, and employee disciplinary actions.
Provide direct support and guidance to clients and consultants, addressing concerns and mediating workplace conflicts to foster a positive and productive environment.
Administer employee benefit programs, acting as a liaison between benefits providers and clients to resolve issues and manage open enrollment.
Develop and incorporate compensation analysis and bonus structures into client and consultant compensation plans
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as needed to maintain legal adherence.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and data within the HRIS
Implement and maintain records for performance appraisals and performance improvement plans
Maintain accurate employee records and conduct audits as necessary.
Collect, organize, and process documents such as agreements, non-disclosure contracts, and payroll documents.
Leadership and management skills to successfully collaborate and grow as a team
Perform miscellaneous HR tasks as needed to support organizational goals
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
5+ years in Executive Recruiting with general HR knowledge and skills
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in HR Technologies: Advanced knowledge of HRIS and a strong aptitude for learning new technical systems and AI-powered HR tools
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to use HR data for informed decision-making and effective problem solving
Attention to Detail and Organization: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in managing employee records and HR processes.
Ethical Conduct: High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
