The Epicor & ERP Systems Lead Developer will be responsible for driving in cross-functional, strategic

technology focused around ensuring the Epicor and connected Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

hardware and software remain performant and adjusting to meet dynamic company expectations. The

ideal candidate will possess the ability to perform configuration, maintenance, and support for Epicor

along with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology interfacing with the platform. The candidate

should be able to provide expert advice and knowledge for future design enhancements for customizing

and integrating with the ERP platform.

The Epicor & ERP Systems Lead Developer must be able to function within an agile environment, leading

ERP solution strategy and running upgrade path projects including Epicor testing and validation

processes. This role will involve the creation and maintenance of a variety of documentation and

knowledge bases around the complete ERP platform while also interfacing with third-party vendors.

This will be expected to understand the entire ERP platform and provide subject matter expertise for

future development and troubleshooting efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate effectively with users via phone, email, and chat systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic ERP roadmaps for new integrations, technology, and upgrade paths.

  • Anticipate, monitor, and clearly articulate risks, changes, opportunities, implications, and options, as well as offer sound judgement and recommendations for Epicor and its interconnected solutions.

  • Design and develop Epicor back-end technologies and interfaces, incorporating changes into intuitive front-end interfaces when necessary.

  • Be comfortable and capable of producing articulate and proficient written documentation, including status reports, correspondence, presentations, illustrations, and reference materials.

  • Develop, organize, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Epicor and interconnected systems.

  • Provide Tier-1 user assistance support including user accounts and assistance with functionality, including user access and permissions.

  • Provide Tier-2 type support including server maintenance, patch installation and release cadence, outage response with the ability to coordinate additional support through third-parties as necessary.

  • Conduct through troubleshooting and root cause analyses, developing and implementing remediation plans as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with financial team members to identify and implement process improvements or remediate system discrepancies. · Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Experience and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Epicor software, including upgrade paths, testing, deployments, and module/reporting development (e.g., BAQ authoring).

  • Strong technical background with APIs, SQL/database management, and SDLC practices; familiarity with Agile methodologies and SOX compliance.

  • Understanding of accounting processes such as sales, procurement, payables, inventory control, and record-to-report workflows.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and the ability to design intuitive front-end experiences that enhance user interaction.

  • Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences; self-motivated with a data-driven, user-focused mindset.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while meeting tight deadlines.

Environmental Factors:

This position requires working in an environment that has a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments.  Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection. Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions.

Physical Requirements:

- Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50lbs

- Capable of sitting, standing kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time

- Capable of using hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel and pick

- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals (butane, propane, etc.) following strict safety guidelines

- Utilize chemicals (such as bleach) to clean and maintain facility/equipment

- Must wear PPE (clothing protection), close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection
