We work together toward the common goal of making Eventbrite the trusted marketplace for live experiences. We collaborate with product teams across the companies to control payment, content publication, and account security risks. Working against an ever-changing threat landscape, we are vigilant for emerging problems and pride ourselves on our ability to respond rapidly at scale. We strive to build solutions through collaboration, building for flexibility, while staying focused on innovative solutions to these complex problems.

THE SKILL SET

  • Experience working with a highly collaborative environment, driving a team who ships code to production often.

  • Develop a sustainable, healthy work environment focused on creative problem solving and innovation.

  • Experience with fundamental cloud technologies (preferably within AWS) and the DevOps approach to autonomous team ownership of mission critical infrastructure.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

BONUS POINTS

  • Direct experience in content moderation, fraud and spam detection or related topics

  • Experience leading completely remote and distributed engineering teams, with global cross team collaboration.

  • Experience working in an experimental and agile environment.

  • Strong Motivation for innovation and creativity.

  • Experience or a passion for organizing and attending live experiences.
