What you'll be doing:
As an Engineering Lead supporting a high-impact federal digital service, you’ll guide a cross-functional team enhancing and sustaining a large-scale platform that helps veterans access and manage critical benefits. You’ll oversee technical direction across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MS D365) customizations, .NET services, API integrations, and enterprise data exchange. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership—driving architecture, code quality, performance, and reliability—while collaborating closely with product, delivery, and cybersecurity partners to ensure secure, scalable, and mission-aligned solutions.
What you’ll bring:
5–7+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of agile teams
Strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE) and .NET Core / C# development
Experience designing and integrating REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise data services
Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
Understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and observability practices
Strong communication and mentorship skills, with a focus on collaboration and delivery excellence
Experience supporting federal health or benefits systems is a plus
Knowledge of system performance, accessibility (Section 508), and security compliance at scale.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills with a focus on delivering impact for end users.
Performs other related duties as assigned
