Position Overview

We are building a cutting-edge Platform that will transform the way our customers identify, protect and govern their data. This will revolutionize how customers secure their data by placing identity at the core – providing unparalleled visibility and control. We are integrating agentic AI capabilities into our platform. Allowing AI assistants to query security data using natural language, enhancing the efficiency of security teams in assessing data exposure and access risks. With a rapidly growing customer base and an expanding team, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Director of DevOps to lead, inspire, and scale high-performing engineering teams.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of DevOps to lead our DevOps function and scale our cloud infrastructure in support of our identity and data security products. This role will be critical in ensuring the secure, scalable, and reliable delivery of our services, which protect our customers’ most sensitive data and digital identities.

You’ll drive the evolution of our DevOps practices in a Microsoft Azure-centric environment, implementing robust CI/CD, automation, and security-first infrastructure practices that support compliance, high availability, and rapid iteration.

  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure infrastructure and deployment practices meet standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR.

  • Support secure integration with identity platforms, such as Entra ID, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML-based authentication systems.

  • Implement automated security scanning and secret management (e.g., Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault).

Reliability, Monitoring & Performance

  • Champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to maintain performance, uptime, and resilience.

  • Deploy and manage observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana) for real-time telemetry, alerting, and reporting.

  • Establish and enforce SLAs, conduct incident response planning, and lead root cause analysis for outages and system issues.

Cost Optimization & Governance

  • Drive efficiency in infrastructure costs, capacity planning, and resource usage. Utilizing FinOps tools such as Mavvrik to track anomalies and making effective use of reservations and savings plans.

  • Maintain cloud governance standards around access control, auditing, and configuration management.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering with 5+ years in a leadership capacity.

  • Proven experience managing Azure-based infrastructure in a security-critical environment.

  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management, data protection, and secure authentication protocols.

  • Deep expertise in CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Bicep), containerization (Docker, AKS), and configuration management.
