Director of Analytics

Scopely is seeking a Director of Analytics to join a new AAA Unannounced Title in the United States on a remote basis!

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced AAA mobile game, and we’re assembling a team of passionate game makers to craft unforgettable characters and immersive adventures that players will love.

As the Director of Analytics, you will lead our analytics practice, shape our data strategy, and empower teams to make better, faster decisions as we move through development and into live service. 

What You Will Do: 

• Build and lead the analytics team, developing and mentoring talent, fostering growth and collaboration

• Partner with PMs to define KPI and maintain a clear, consistent metrics glossary

• Lead experimentation design and analysis, providing actionable recommendations

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support day-to-day and strategic decision-making

• Work with our Tech team and Playgami to ensure to comprehensive in-game analytics instrumentation, data pipelines, and experimentation capabilities for pre-launch testing and launch

• Deliver insights, deep dives, and ad hoc analyses to inform product strategy and live-ops decisions

• Take on a heavier load of individual contributor (IC) analytics work early, transitioning into discipline leadership while maintaining meaningful IC contributions

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience leading analytics for mobile games

• Strong analytical, experimentation, and data modeling expertise

• Willing and able to operate as both a leader and an individual contributor while the team scales

• Experience improving telemetry and data pipelines with engineering teams

• Skilled communicator who can support cross-functional teams and influence decision-making

• Comfortable working across cultures and time zones

Bonus Points

• Experience supporting a title from development through live operations

• Experience working across both Chinese and Western game development cultures

• Mandarin & English proficiency

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$186,000—$291,000 USD
