What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Design Strategist/Graphic Designer to join the Defense and Security Segment (D&S) Human-Centered Design (HCD) team. The candidate will support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency dedicated to advancing the mission of this federal agency.
Typical duties include:
Develop and implement innovative visual design solutions that align with project goals and effectively communicate messages to diverse audiences in the American public as well as within the client agency.
Work closely with the cross functional communications team directly supporting a federal agency, including D&S HCD teammates, to understand communication goals and strategies.
Design infographics, reports, presentations, and other digital and print products efficiently.
Manage requirement gathering and setting and enforcing production schedules.
Engage external printers or other vendors as needed.
Apply user-centered design principles to ensure products resonate with the target audiences.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
Collaborate with project managers and engagement leadership to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED 'TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)' Federal or DoD security clearance.
Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a (COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a similar field
THREE (3) years’ experience in graphic design
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Portfolio showcasing the range of your design abilities
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Section 508 accessibility requirements familiarity.
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
