Job Description
Summary
The Financial Accounting Squad is responsible for processing events from our platform and custom them in processing reports, using cutting-edge technologies to deliver a high-scalable, secure, cost-effective and resilient financial services to the clients.
What you'll do
Design, build and maintain scalable and automated data pipelines
Support analytics and machine learning workflows across different teams
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
Ensure data quality, security, and governance throughout our systems
Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model data for business intelligence and strategic insights
Orchestrate data pipelines using tools like Airflow
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location, be based in Brazil. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate)
Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL skills for manipulating and analyzing large-scale datasets
Proficiency in Python focused on automation, data analysis, and API integrations
Strong experience with Databricks, including notebooks, Delta Lake, and integrations
Solid knowledge of AWS services:
Glue (serverless ETL)
Athena (serverless SQL queries)
S3 (data storage)
Lambda (serverless function execution)
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration
Strong understanding of BI and data modeling for visualization and strategic analysis
Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
Background working with high-volume data and performance-focused environments
Familiarity with modern data architecture (e.g., Data Lakehouse, medallion architecture)
Nice to have
Experience with Machine Learning and AI tools such as:
AWS Bedrock (generative and foundational models)
AWS SageMaker (ML model creation, training, and deployment)
Knowledge of DataOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
