Job Description

About Kernel

Kernel is our flagship internship program designed to identify and nurture entry-level technical talent from unconventional or underserved career paths. The program is tailored for:

  • Individuals stuck in underwhelming jobs despite having industry experience (minimum 1 year), or

  • Individuals currently undergoing a recognized technical training program (evaluated during screening).

This program offers a structured career path with hands-on training, mentoring, and a guaranteed job offer on successful completion of the internship.

Location: Remote Program Duration: 6-month internship leading to full-time opportunity Commitment: 2 years full-time post-training Minimum CTC after internship: ₹6,00,000 per annum (performance-based) Stipend: ₹10,000/month starting after successful completion of the first month

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (mandatory)

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional/industry experience OR enrollment in a relevant, verified technical certification course

  • Commitment: Willingness to provide a 2.5-year commitment, which includes 6 months of training, as part of the agreement.

We are looking for passionate and motivated candidates who may not have had the best start in their tech careers but are willing to learn, grow, and commit to a long-term opportunity.

You may be a fit if:

  • You have at least 1 year of prior industry experience in any technical role OR are currently undergoing a certified self-development course in relevant technologies (subject to approval during screening).

  • You are looking to restart or redirect your career in technology with a strong foundation and future path.

  • You are willing to sign a 2.5-year bond, which includes 6 months of training. A security cheque (undated) will be required as part of the agreement.

Skills & Technical Requirements

Required:

  • Strong interest in data, cloud, or backend technologies

  • Familiarity with SQL, databases, or Python

  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and willingness to learn quickly

Stipend Details

  • ₹10,000/month stipend

  • Stipend will be applicable after successful completion of the first month of the training program

  • Continued monthly payment based on active participation and satisfactory performance
