About the Team

The brand creative team is a function within Marketing and comprises passionate, remote-based producers, designers, writers and brand specialists. We partner with teams across Mozilla to build cohesive and memorable brand experiences and creative campaigns that reflect our company’s values and resonate with our audiences. We serve as architects and ambassadors of how Mozilla and our products look, speak and behave.

Our team responsibilities include defining strategic foundations for brand positioning, messaging, visual identity and how people experience our brands around the world in the form of marketing communications. We thoughtfully craft these in partnership with other functions across Marketing including Product Marketing, Communications, Insights and Analytics, and in close collaboration with our Marketing Activations team. We guide the Mozilla Corporation on brand, providing internal tools and resources that help teams build and create marketing that is in line with Mozilla’s cause and the intent — to reclaim the internet, prioritizing the needs of people over corporations.

About the Role

  • An experienced Producer is required to lead programs of work and creative operations within the Mozilla Marketing org.

  • This role spans creative operations, project management and production. Added bonus is someone who also has experience in campaign production.

  • The ideal candidate is self initiated and well versed in coordinating internal teams, orchestrating stakeholder processes, managing agencies and external partners. As well as confident in leading team operations for the brand creative function within Marketing.

  • They are at ease with stakeholder navigation and cross functional relationship building.

  • An expert who brings strategic rigor to support creative teams with smooth processes and outstanding execution.

  • Role responsibilities include but are not limited to: Team operations, resourcing, scope writing, scope maintenance, agency, contractual and legal negotiations, timeline tracking, budget maintenance, scheduling, task management, external partner, consultant management and feedback processes.

  • Projects are typically internal to Mozilla spanning product branding, campaigns, events, and experiential, and can have durations of a few weeks or multi-year.

  • Experience in running digital production is essential as is the ability to manage multiple programmes of differing altitude, simultaneously with different teams is essential.

  • Potential to manage other Project Managers and/or Producers.

Requirements

  • Experience in running projects for product branding, brand, campaigns, events and experiential.

  • Track record in Production and a master of process and creative operations

  • Experience in running digital and physical creative programs

  • A self started who can support the rest of the org to operate with efficiency and impact

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an agency or in-house setting in a similar role

  • Creative appreciation and accountability for maintaining creative quality.

  • Mentorship and management experience with junior Producers.

  • Diverse and open minded perspective with a passion for Mozilla’s mission.
