The Customer Journeys & Loyalty Team plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expansion worldwide. Our team defines and manages programs to foster long-term customer engagement, creating campaigns and end-to-end journeys that drive frequency, conversion and loyalty.  We partner with global leadership, product marketing, advanced analytics and other teams to optimize discovery of our expanding portfolio of stays, experiences and services with the goal of increasing guest satisfaction and customer lifetime value (CLV).

The Difference You Will Make As Creative Merchandising Lead, you’ll ensure that merchandising initiatives are executed seamlessly across teams. You’ll own the essential work tracks (including creative asset planning, communication, and delivery) that keep partners aligned and projects on track. Your focus will be on operational excellence, enabling the team to execute merchandising activations and experiments with predictability, efficiency, and impact.

A typical day

  • Drive end-to-end publishing and asset planning for merchandising activations, ensuring dependencies are tracked and milestones are met.

  • Partner closely with creative, production, and engineering teams to manage the full asset pipeline, tracking deliverables, approval chains, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.

  • Oversee content and creative QA, ensuring technical accuracy, design consistency, and proper functionality across platforms and surfaces.

  • Coordinate with operations and data science partners to ensure activations align with recommendation and ranking systems, optimizing campaign visibility and impact.

  • Ensure flawless execution of initiatives related to content management, publishing, and cross-channel alignment (CRM, SEM, etc.).

  • Manage project risks and surface blockers proactively with proposed solutions.

  • Support team onboarding, documentation, and process standardization to improve scale.

  • Provide program-level reporting on progress, outcomes, and lessons learned.

Your expertise

  • 10+ years experience in program or project management involving creative or production teams within digital, e-commerce, or tech environments.

  • Strong organizational and operational skills with proven ability to structure and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Hands-on experience managing creative production workflows and asset management systems, ensuring timely delivery and version control.

  • Familiarity with technical and creative QA processes, including validation of assets, links, metadata, and publishing accuracy.

  • Familiarity with recommendation, personalization, or ranking algorithms, and how they influence content merchandising or customer experiences.

  • Proficiency with program management tools such as Asana, Jira, Airtable, or equivalent.

  • Adept at navigating ambiguity, driving alignment, and resolving conflicts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.

Your Location:

We are open to candidates in multiple locations, but we ask that you are able to work Pacific Time Zone work hours as needed.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
