Contract Administrator

This position is pivotal to the long-term success of the division due to its support of current and prospective customer relationships.

Job Description

Work closely with internal stakeholders to include account management, customer service, IT, legal/compliance, lab management, human resources, risk management and scientific team leaders within the division in the negotiation of contracts and development and writing of competitive bid/RFP proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate legal approval of all new and renewed contracts, amendments, addenda, statements of work, Bid/RFP releases and responses, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, pricing letters and quotes.

  • Identify and review new/existing bid and RFP opportunities via various state and government websites.

  • Ensure all contracts submitted for legal review have been approved by appropriate levels of senior management, have received financial approval, and all business issues and approved pricing are addressed within the document. 

  • Coordinate conference calls and WebEx meetings as needed between key stakeholders.

  • Assists in coordination with other departments on matters related to contracts and bid responses, prepares responses to customer correspondence and other requests.

  • Track all contract documents submitted via iCertis and maintain electronic files of all DNA Identification bid proposals and agreements.

  • Conduct research and provide accurate data based on requests.

  • Follow up with all involved parties to ensure a timely response to the client.

  • Act as back up to other Contract Administrators when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associate’s Degree w/3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Prior experience in coordinating legal approval of all new and renewed contracts, amendments, addenda, statements of work, Bid/RFP releases and responses, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, pricing letters and quotes strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience in identifying and reviewing new/existing bid and RFP opportunities via various state and government websites strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience within DNA Identity or LES Labcorp Employer Services divisions, strongly preferred

  • Experience drafting contractual and other business correspondence is preferred.

  • Intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook preferred

  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface and negotiate with customers and various levels of employees, attorneys, sales team and management preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment as well as prioritize assignments preferred.
