At HubSpot Media, we are hiring for one of our largest Original media products, My First Million. We’re looking to bring someone in who loves the brand and can build a social and community engine that connects, engages and grows our audiences with impeccable content.
We need someone who’s ready to start conversations, build deeper connections and make sure that our audiences get more than what they expect when they’re a part of our ecosystem.
My First Million is crushing it. 2 million monthly listeners. 800K YouTube subscribers. And we're just getting started. What You'll Actually Do
Content Production: Turn Multi-Media Into Social Gold
Take our multi-media content and turn it into social gold that people actually want to watch, share, and engage with.
Build our YouTube Community, which includes owning shorts distribution and other content pieces inside of the YouTube Community platform.
Grow and run the My First Million brand LinkedIn.
Build our Instagram presence from scratch.
Collaborate with our editorial team to transform our content segments into social angles and stories.
Work directly with Shaan, Sam, and our producers to create social-first programming across all key platforms.
Audience Engagement: Be Our Voice Online
Take a human first approach in engaging with our audiences across platforms.
Capture content for My First Million at HubSpot's INBOUND conference in addition to other IRL experiences.
Track trends, follow social signals to build a comprehensive content calendar that’s cohesive and on brand.
Measurement: Prove It's Working
Track what's working and what's not, you’ll be responsible for the data and analysis of the content that you’re sharing.
Grow the MFM brand reach and engagement rates - no vanity metrics across social platforms.
Drive real subscribers to YouTube and our upcoming newsletter through our social presence across platforms.

Have the Chops
3-5+ years doing social marketing/production (actually doing it, not just 'managing' it)
You’re comfortable with AI tools, or have experience in trying them to optimize performance - Chat GPT, Canva, Riverside, Descript, or CapCut in your sleep
You understand how to create content that gets people to stop scrolling and keeps people engaged with our brand
You've grown audiences before and can prove it

What This Job ISN'T
Look, we're not going to waste your time:
You won't be making the podcast (we got that covered)
You won't be running ads (different team)
You won't be designing promotional stuff (also different team)
You won't be dealing with a bunch of bureaucratic nonsense
You'll have support, but you need to be able to execute as an individual contributor.

Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
