JOB DESCRIPTION
You will play an important role in advancing Green Dot’s pro-consumer ethos by supporting the Compliance Department by managing the issues management program and the implementation and management of the new GRC platform. This role will be a member of a dynamic and growing Compliance organization and reports to the Senior Director, Compliance and Regulatory Risk Management.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Issue Management program for effective resolution of identified issues.
• Oversee a team of Compliance Specialists and be responsible for team performance, development, operational execution and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage tracking of issues recorded and manage follow-up as needed to assess acceptable progress toward target date provided. If needed, coordinate extension requests.
• Identify opportunities to enhance policies, processes, documentation, and controls.
• Collaborate with relevant management to discuss identified issues.
• Analyze data related to Issue Management to identify patterns and trends and provide summary reporting of results.
• Support enhancements to ongoing reporting of key metrics to internal stakeholders, including senior management and board committees, and regulators.
• Support the Compliance Department with other compliance-related roles and
responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
• 5 years experience in Compliance, Law or Risk Management, preferably in a financial institution, payments organization, law or consulting firm or regulatory agency.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on courses of action.
• Ability to prioritize and maintain focus on multiple tasks while working in a team environment with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth and dynamic environment.
• Proven skills in relationship building and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to approach common problems.
• Proficient with MS Office Professional programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant compliance certification.

PAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $96,500 to $144,700 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
